A terrific, inspirational show for kids reminding them of the importance of striving to reach for their dreams.  Hold On To Your Dreams, helps kids to understand that no goal is too lofty, they can be a ballerina, a vet, a basketball star... as long as they stick with it, and believe they can do it!  Approximately 45 minutes long.

Storytelling with Carl Anderson, Ph.D.

Kate James: Portrait of a Texas Pioneer
Texas history comes to life through the remembrances of Kate James. From her arrival in Texas at the age of 4 in 1855, to life during the Civil War when women had to shoulder a double burden, to the expansive beauty of the Texas plains when the wildflowers were in full bloom. Peyton Hayslip portrays her great-great-great grandmother in this lovely portrait of pioneer life in Texas. This production is perfect for Texas History studies as it helps meet the Texas History Curriculum guidelines in a creative, fun way.  Click here for more information!  Approximately 45 minutes long.
My Family/My Friends (For young children and families.)
"Family are the friends you're born with, friends are the family we choose. " Carl explores the hilarious and heartfelt moments that comprise family life, including respect for ancestors, betime battles, and blended and extended families. A series of vignettes, and stories drawn from African and Asian folktales, modern literature, and personal biography lead audiences to have renewed respect for their own roots, family and friends. Tales of the North Pole with Santa and Mrs. Claus (For young children and families.)
Nominated for a B. Iden Payne award for Best Original Script!  Carl and Peyton delight believers of all ages as Santa and Mrs. Claus sharing stories of grouchy elves, demanding dragons and life at the North Pole. This show is a crowd pleaser throughout the year, and we are happy to bring it to your special event or school.  However the show is NOT AVAILABLE from Thanksgiving to Christmas... (Santa and Mrs. Claus are a little busy then.) Approximately 45 minutes long.
Searching for Santa and Finding Hope (For adults.)
Carl's autobiographical monologue for adults and children who "know" about his 20+ years portraying Santa Claus. A holiday tradition in the making.  Searching for Santa was nominated for a B. Iden Payne Award for Best Original Script, and is the basis for the new feature film currently being submitted to film festivals under the title, The Real Santa. Approximately 90 minutes long.
